Leather Shaving Blade
The blades are manufactured for sizes ranging from 300mm to 3200mm. The pitch and diameter of the blades depend on specifications of original and refurbished machine manufacturers. They are used in tanneries to provide uniform thickness to the hides and skins. Variances in manufacturing processes help to manufacture Full Hard, Center Soft and Front Hard Blades.
Leather Fleshing Blade
Made from special alloy steel from selected European manufacturers, these blades are extensively used in tanneries to remove the flesh from the hides and skins. Special processes of heat treatment and formation of steel provide perfect dimension, optimum hardness, lowest tolerance and longer blade life. These blades are available for a ‘Total Working Width’ ranging from 1200mm to 3300mm and vary in pitch, diameter and thickness.
Splitting Band Knife
Steel of highest quality and lowest tolerance is used to manufacture these blades. They are used extensively in tanneries, shoe, leather goods, rubber, cork, coir, foam, textile, laminate, paper, tissue and other industries for splitting materials into layers. The length of the blades ranges from 2000mm to 14000mm as per specification of machine manufacturers. These blades have varying thickness, hardness, bevels and edges.
We supply Grinding Stones along with our blades. The grit size, bonding material and hardness of the Grinding Stones not only ensure a perfectly sharp cutting edge to our blades but also help in increasing knife-life. Grindling Blocks are mainly used in fleshing machines and Grinding Wheels are extensively used in shaving and splitting machines. However, with recent developments in areas of fleshing, some modern fleshing machines have started using grinding wheels instead of blocks.
